Warren caught 9 of 10 targets for 55 yards and two first downs, the most catches of his career and tying his most targets, and ran once for 2 yards to convert third and one on the first snap of the fourth quarter. His 15-yard catch on second and nine in the first quarter was his longest of the season, in a 19–17 win over the Texans.

Nothing to nothing, nine-oh-two left in the first quarter, second and nine at the Indianapolis 32. Daniel Jones threw short left to Tyler Warren, 13 yards in the air, and Warren took it 15 yards to the Indianapolis 47. +1.5 expected points added — expected points added is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position — his best play of the day. It was his longest catch of the season and the first on a throw that traveled more than four yards in the air. The drive ended in Spencer Shrader's 39-yard field goal, the first points of the game.
The line: 10 targets, nine catches, 55 yards, no touchdown, two receiving first downs, +1.9 expected points on the targets; one carry, two yards, one first down. Nine catches are the most of his career, one more than his eight against the Falcons last season, and 10 targets tie his high. The catches went nine, 15, eight, seven, three, three, five, eight and −3. The nine came on the Colts' first snap of the game. The one third-down target was third and two at the Houston 43 on the first snap of the second quarter, three yards and a first down, on the drive that ended in the Colts' touchdown. The carry was third and one at the Houston 23 on the first snap of the fourth quarter, up the middle for two and the first down with an extra player reported as eligible, the same call that converted a third and one in Week 2. The −3 came on the next snap, thrown eight yards behind the line, and the drive ended in a field goal. The one incompletion was first and 10 at the Indianapolis 46 in the second quarter, 11 yards in the air. Six targets before halftime, four after.

Three were thrown behind the line and two traveled more than 10 yards. 38 of the 55 yards came after the catch. 10 targets were 29 percent of the 35 Colts throws with a receiver, second to Josh Downs's 11 and ahead of Keenan Allen's nine.
Back in June the preview's read on Warren was a rookie season that finished fifth among tight ends, with the best of it in the games Jones started, and a lean in his favor built on the target role and a red-zone role with room to grow. Week 1 was five targets, 13 yards and a touchdown. Week 2 was seven targets, 21 yards and a touchdown, none of the throws more than a yard past the line. Sunday was the most targets and catches of the three and his first catch of the year past four air yards, with no touchdown and no target inside the Houston 20. Three games: 22 targets, 18 catches, 89 yards, two touchdowns. The volume the preview bet on is there; the yards per catch are under five. Indianapolis faces the Commanders in London on Sunday the fourth.
