Woody Marks got the most carries of his season against the Giants and found little room: 19 for 66 yards and -5.2 expected points added (EPA), what a play was worth given down, distance and field position. Seven of the 19 carries (37%) gained positive EPA. He caught his one target for 15 yards.

The catch was his best snap. Down 21-14 with 3:07 left, first and 10 at the New York 37, he took a short pass to the right for 15 yards to the 22, +0.96 EPA and 6.7 points of win probability, the estimate of each side's chance to win, on the drive that tied it. One snap before the touchdown, he was stopped for no gain at the 3. Tied 14-14 in the third, he was stopped on third and 1 at his own 42; after C.J. Stroud converted the fourth down, Marks lost 3 yards and the ball came out, and New York's 41-yard return for a touchdown was reversed when replay ruled him down. He was hurt on the play and returned in the fourth, when a 27-yard run came back on a holding penalty. His overtime carry, the first snap of the period, gained nothing.

Per carry it was a step down. Through Week 6 he had 58 carries for 205 yards, 2 touchdowns and -8.3 EPA, -0.14 a carry, with 33% positive; here it was -0.28.
