Drake London did a lot with a little against the Saints: 5 catches on 6 targets for 96 yards and +6.9 expected points added (EPA) on his targets. EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position.
The defining catch came with Atlanta up 14-7 early in the second quarter. Second and 10 at the New Orleans 39: Michael Penix Jr. went deep right and London came down with it at the 12 for 27 yards, +2.4 EPA and +5.8 points of win probability. Three snaps later Brian Robinson scored. His 37-yarder from the Atlanta 14 later in the quarter moved a drive that ended in a field goal, and his 14 yards on third and 10 in the third quarter put the ball at the 14 before another Robinson touchdown.
Six targets were 30% of Penix's 20 attempts in a game Atlanta ran 33 times. With Penix starting the last two weeks, London has 14 catches on 16 targets for 290 yards; Weeks 1 and 2 brought 6 catches for 80. He is still looking for his first touchdown. Four games: 25 targets, 20 catches, 370 yards.
