Drake London kept Atlanta's offense alive against the Ravens: 11 targets, 7 catches, 118 yards, and +7.5 expected points added (EPA) on his targets. EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position.
His most valuable catch came early in the fourth quarter. Up 17-15 with 11:35 left, third and 15 at the Atlanta 40, Michael Penix threw deep left and London caught it for 19 yards to the Baltimore 41: +2.9 EPA and +9.2 points of win probability. It was one of five third-down catches, and every one moved the chains: 25 yards on third and 3, 14 on third and 2, 13 on third and 10, 19 on third and 15, 15 on third and 1.
Overtime ended on a throw to him. Down 30-23 with 2:50 left, Tua Tagovailoa hit him for 20 yards to the Atlanta 48. On the next snap, first and 10, a short pass over the middle intended for London was intercepted by Kyle Hamilton at the Baltimore 40: -2.7 EPA and -50.5 points of win probability, the biggest swing of the game.
11 targets were his most of the season, after 4, 5, 10 and 6 in Weeks 1 through 4. His 118 yards trailed only the 194 he posted against the Packers in Week 3. Through Week 4 he had +23.1 EPA on 25 targets and 370 yards.
