Khalil Shakir made three catches count against the Rams: 3 targets, 3 catches, 80 yards and +5.9 expected points added (EPA). EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position. He gained 63 of those yards after the catch.

The catch that defined his night came tied 34-34 in overtime. With 8:48 left, second and 16 at the Buffalo 21, Josh Allen threw short over the middle and Shakir carried it to the Los Angeles 22, a 57-yard gain: +4.5 EPA and +23.4 points of win probability, the biggest swing of the game. James Cook fumbled on the next snap.

He also set up the Bills' last score of regulation. At 27-27 with 3:17 left, second and 6 at the Los Angeles 36, he caught a 17-yarder over the deep middle to the 19, +7.3 points of win probability; Cook scored from the 5 on that possession.

By value, one game passed his whole first month. Weeks 1 through 4 brought 15 catches on 23 targets for 176 yards and +1.5 EPA; his best day was 82 yards in Week 4.
