17 to 13, Colts, nine 22 left in the third quarter against the Commanders, second and nine at the Indianapolis 45. Daniel Jones threw short right to Tyler Warren at the line of scrimmage, and Warren took it 13 yards to the Washington 42. +1.4 expected points added — expected points added is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position — and six and a half points of win probability, the chance of winning after the play against before it. The drive ended in Spencer Shrader's 52-yard field goal, 20 to 13.

The line: five targets, five catches, 41 yards, two first downs, +2.3 expected points on the targets, 21 air yards and 20 after the catch. The other first down was 12 yards on third and two at the Washington 38 in the second quarter, Colts down six to nothing, on the drive that ended in Jonathan Taylor's first touchdown. A nine-yarder opened the drive before halftime that ended in a 48-yard field goal. The other two went for −1 eight.

Five targets put him third on the Colts, behind Laquon Treadwell and Ashton Dulin with six each.

Back in June the preview's case for Warren was built on the target role. Last week's episode said the volume was there and the yards per catch were under five. Sunday the volume fell to five, from 10, and every one was caught for 8.2 yards a catch, his most of the four games. Four games: 27 targets, 23 catches, a hundred 30 yards, two touchdowns.
