Blake Corum Smashed against the Raiders on the most work of his season: 17 carries for 93 yards and a touchdown, both season highs, plus an 8-yard catch, in a 35-21 win at Las Vegas. His carries were worth +6.8 expected points added (EPA), what a play was worth given down, distance and field position, and 11 of the 17 (65%) gained positive EPA.

He closed the game. Up 28-18 with 13:12 left, the Rams went 70 yards in 12 plays, and Corum carried 6 times for 24 yards inside the Las Vegas 28. On third and 1 at the 19 he gained 5. On third and 7 at the 11 he gained 3, and a horse-collar penalty on Treydan Stukes added 4 more and a first down at the 4. He went in off left guard on the next snap, 35-18 with 6:37 left. His longest run of the day never counted: a 43-yard touchdown in the third came back on Steve Avila's face-mask penalty. His 17-yarder in the second quarter set up Puka Nacua's touchdown.

It was about 10 times his season rate per carry. Through Week 6 he had 47 carries for 223 yards and a touchdown, at +0.04 EPA a carry, 49% positive; here it was +0.40.
