Lamb caught 7 of 8 targets for 112 yards and five first downs, the most receiving yards in the game, with a 49-yard catch on second and nine from the Dallas 5 right after a goal-line stop and a 13-yard conversion on fourth and four. He also caught a two-point try and drew a 20-yard pass interference penalty to the Baltimore 2 on the last drive, in a 34–31 loss to the Ravens in Rio de Janeiro.

24 to 21, Ravens, 12 25 left, second and nine at the Dallas five. Dallas had just stopped Derrick Henry on fourth and one at its own one. Dak Prescott threw deep left to CeeDee Lamb, 39 yards in the air, and he was pushed out at the Baltimore 46 after 49. +3.7 expected points added — expected points added is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position — and 12 points of win probability, the chance of winning the game after the play against before it. Five snaps later KaVontae Turpin ran nine yards for the touchdown that put Dallas ahead 28 to 24.
The line: eight targets, seven catches, a hundred 12 yards, five first downs, no touchdown, +10.0 expected points on his targets. The catches: 11 on first and 10 with one 18 left in the first quarter; seven and then 11 on third and eight late in the half, to the Baltimore 36, on the drive that ended in a field goal; seven on third and 11 early in the third quarter, four short, and then, on fourth and four at the Baltimore 47, down 17 to 13, 13 yards to the 34 — 13 points of win probability, the most on any Dallas completion; that drive ended in a lost fumble. Then the 49, and 14 on second and 10 from the Dallas 48 with one 20 left, down 31 to 28, to the Baltimore 38. The one incompletion was first and 10 in the third quarter. Three targets before halftime, five after. Two third-down targets, both caught, one converted.
Two plays sit outside the line. He caught the two-point try after Jake Ferguson's touchdown late in the third, making it 24 to 21. And with 28 seconds left, a deep ball his way at the Baltimore 22 drew a 20-yard pass interference penalty to the two; Dallas got no closer and kicked the tying field goal.
Eight targets were 20 percent of Prescott's 40 throws, tied with Ryan Flournoy behind George Pickens's 11. His hundred 12 yards were the most by any receiver in the game, ahead of Zay Flowers's 84 and Pickens's 82, and his targets were worth more expected points than any other receiver's, for the second week running.
Back in June the preview's read was that Lamb's nine targets a game would hold and his three touchdowns on a hundred 17 targets across 13 games would not. Week 1 was eight targets, five catches, 44 yards and a one-yard touchdown in a loss at the Giants. Week 2 was eight catches for a hundred 53 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Washington. Three games: 25 targets, 20 catches, 309 yards, three touchdowns — already as many scores as all of last season, on a little over eight targets a game. Both halves of the June read are arriving; three games settle little. Dallas is at the Texans on Sunday the fourth.
