Jaylen Waddle was Bo Nix's most-used target against the Cardinals: 7 targets, 28% of the team's, 4 catches for 48 yards and +1.6 expected points added (EPA), what a play was worth given down, distance and field position.
His biggest catch came up 27-13 with 11:00 left. Second and 15 at his own 40, he caught a deep ball on the right for 27 yards to the Arizona 33, +2.60 EPA, on a drive that ended in a field goal. In the first quarter his 14-yard catch on second and 8 reached the Arizona 24, +1.76 EPA, and that drive ended in a field goal too. With 4:51 left he recovered Nix's fumbled snap and was hurt on the play.
Per target it was well above his season. Through Week 6 he had 38 targets, 22 catches, 228 yards, 1 touchdown and -0.5 EPA, -0.01 a target; here it was +0.22.
