Kenneth Walker carried the load against the Broncos without the room he had found in Week 1: 21 carries for 69 yards, plus 4 catches on 5 targets for 15 yards. Expected points added (EPA), what a play was worth given down, distance and field position, had his carries at -0.9, -0.04 a carry, with 9 of the 21 successful plays, 42.9%. In Week 1 against Denver he ran 23 times for 173 yards.

The carries that mattered most came at the end. Down 28-24 on the last drive, his 8-yard catch on second and 4 reached the Denver 4. He ran for 3 to the 1 with 35 seconds left, and after an incompletion, JL Skinner stopped him for no gain on third and goal with 9 seconds left, -9.8 points of win probability, the estimate of each side's chance to win. A false start and a sack followed. Earlier he converted two third-and-1 carries in the fourth quarter, the second on the drive that ended in Harrison Butker's 54-yard miss.

Through Week 7 he had 120 carries for 701 yards and 6 touchdowns, +0.10 EPA a carry with 45% successful.
