Kyren Williams had his most rushing yards of the season against the Raiders, 16 carries for 99 and a touchdown, plus 2 catches for 22, in a 35-21 win at Las Vegas. One carry took most of the value back: his carries were worth -0.7 expected points added (EPA), what a play was worth given down, distance and field position, after a fumble that cost -4.9 on its own.
The touchdown came up 21-3 with 1:25 left in the half: second and 7 at the Las Vegas 17, he went around left end and scored, +2.8 EPA, for 28-3 after the extra point. Two snaps earlier, on third and 3 at the Las Vegas 34, he caught a 14-yard pass to the 20, +1.35 EPA. The fumble came in the third, up 28-6, on the first snap of a drive at his own 13: he gained 9, JJ Pegues knocked the ball out and Jeremy Chinn recovered at the Rams 30. After the onside kick with 4:11 left, he carried five straight times for 23 yards before Matthew Stafford knelt it out.
Per carry he came in under his season. Through Week 6 he had 80 carries for 393 yards and 4 touchdowns at +0.02 EPA a carry, 42% of them positive; here 44% were positive, at -0.04 a carry.
