Andrews caught four of six targets for forty-nine yards, tied with Zay Flowers for the most targets on the Ravens, and was the only Baltimore receiver thrown to three times after halftime. His seventeen-yard catch on second and sixteen was the first down that set up Flowers's fifty-four-yard touchdown two snaps later. No touchdowns, and a false start at the Indianapolis two, in a 41–23 win over the Colts.

Second and 16 at the Baltimore 28, eight 18 left in the second quarter, Ravens up 14 to six, a drive that had just gone backward on a holding call. Lamar Jackson short middle to Mark Andrews, 14 yards in the air, 17 yards to the 45, first down. +2.1 expected points added — expected points added is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position — and +5 and a half points of win probability, the biggest single number in Andrews's day. Justice Hill ran for one yard on the next snap, and the one after that was Zay Flowers's 54-yard touchdown. Andrews's catch is most of the reason it started from the Baltimore 46 and not the 28.
The line: six targets, four catches, 49 yards, no touchdowns, +2.1 expected points on the targets. The catches were 17, 10, nine and 13. The 10 came on third and 15 from the Baltimore 29 with 13 37 left in the third, five yards short, punt; the nine on second and 15 from the Baltimore 46; the 13 on second and eight from the 42 with eight 22 left in the game, a first down. The two incompletions were both on second down — second and 14 from the Indianapolis 14, on the drive that died on downs at the three, and second and five from the Baltimore 39 with two minutes left in the half. He also had an 11-yard catch on third and 10 erased by an illegal shift to open the third quarter, and a false start at the Indianapolis two with nine 25 left in the first, right after Flowers's 49-yard catch, that made it first and seven from the seven. Baltimore scored anyway, two plays later.
Six targets tied Flowers for the team high on 27 Ravens pass plays. The split by half is the thing: three before the break, when Baltimore threw 18 times, and three after it, when Baltimore threw seven and ran 20. Flowers did not play the second half, per Ryan Mink at BaltimoreRavens.com, and of the seven second-half throws Andrews had three, Chris Moore two, Justice Hill one, Rashod Bateman one.
Back in June the preview's read on Andrews was a TE16 season whose floor rested on efficiency and touchdowns rather than a target share, with availability — about 89 percent — as the one durable input. Sunday reversed the shape for one game: the target share was there, tied for the most on the team, and the touchdown was not. Whether six targets is a week or a role depends on who is on the field next to him, and after Sunday that is an open question. Baltimore is home to the Saints on Sunday the twentieth.
