14 to seven, Ravens, three 36 left in the second quarter, second and three at the Titans three. Lamar Jackson threw short over the middle to Mark Andrews for the touchdown, +1.4 expected points added — expected points added is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position. It was his first touchdown of the season, and it finished a drive that had started at the Baltimore two. He was there at the start of it too: seven yards on second and 11 from the one, then six on third and four from the eight for the first down that got Baltimore off its own goal line.
The line: six targets, five catches, 27 yards, one touchdown, two first downs, +1.8 expected points on his targets. The other catches: five on third and eight late in the half, three short of the first down, and a punt; and six from Tyler Huntley in the third quarter. The one incompletion was Baltimore's second snap of the day, first and 10 at the Tennessee 14.
Six targets were second on the team to Zay Flowers's 10.
Back in June the preview read Andrews's four-year trend as pointing one direction. Four games: 24 targets, 18 catches, a hundred 49 yards, and now the touchdown. Six targets a game is what he has averaged across all four.
