The full read

MarShawn Lloyd scored twice against the Bears on a modest day otherwise: 10 carries, 31 yards, 2 touchdowns, +0.3 expected points added (EPA) on the ground. EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position.

The first touchdown came on the opening snap of the second quarter, up 7-0. Second and 7 at the Chicago 7: Lloyd went off right tackle and scored, +1.9 EPA, for 14-0. The second, 4 yards around left end on the first snap of the fourth quarter, made it 29-7.

The yards in between were hard. His best run was 10 off left tackle in the first quarter, and all three of his third-quarter carries lost yardage. Four carries in 10 (40%) gained positive EPA, against 37% in Weeks 1 through 4. He caught 1 of 2 targets for 6 yards.

The baseline was worse. Weeks 1 through 4 he ran 30 times for 81 yards and -12.7 EPA, with a lost fumble and no rushing touchdowns. 10 carries were his most since 13 in Week 1.
