Rashod Bateman was Baltimore's go-to receiver on the drive that saved the game against the Falcons: 6 targets, 5 catches, 62 yards, +5.0 expected points added (EPA) on his targets. EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position.
Down 23-15 with 2:05 left, he caught passes of 11 and 7 yards. Then, with 52 seconds left, second and 7 at the Atlanta 27, Tyler Huntley threw short left and Bateman took it 20 yards to the Atlanta 7: +1.9 EPA and +8.9 points of win probability. Baltimore scored and tied it on the two-point try.
He also converted third and 11 with a 19-yard catch just before halftime and caught a 5-yarder on the overtime drive. His 62 yards trailed only the 88 he had in Week 2. Weeks 1 through 4 brought +11.0 EPA on 15 targets.
