Rhamondre Stevenson carried the heaviest load of his season against the Dolphins: 19 carries for 82 yards, both his most in a game this season, and +1.3 expected points added (EPA), what a play was worth given down, distance and field position. 10 of the 19 were successful carries, 52.6%, meaning they gained what the situation asked for. He caught all 3 of his targets for 8 yards and -0.3 EPA.

The carry that finished it came after Miami's touchdown cut the lead to 24-19. He fielded the onside kick at the Miami 43, and three snaps later, third and 5 at the Miami 38 with 1:51 left, he went up the middle for 5 yards. The first down stood on review, +1.0 EPA and 2.7 points of win probability, the estimate of each side's chance to win, and Drake Maye knelt three times.

He set up the go-ahead score too. Down 13-10 in the third, he opened the drive with runs of 7 and 9 from his own 27, and on second and 7 at the Miami 7 he ran 5 yards to the 2; Maye scored on the next snap. On the opening drive, third and 3 at the Miami 44, his 3-yard run off left end got exactly the first down, +1.2 EPA.

It was a turn from his first seven weeks. Through Week 7 he had 77 carries for 285 yards and -6.5 EPA, -0.08 a carry, with 36.4% successful; here it was +0.07 a carry and 52.6%. His previous high was 64 yards, in Week 5.
