The line: four targets, two catches, 15 yards, one first down, −0.2 expected points on the targets. The other catch was five yards on second and seven in the first quarter. The two misses were short: second and three two snaps after the 10-yarder, and first and 10 at the Kansas City 42 on the Chiefs' first possession of the third quarter. Three targets before halftime, one after, and none after nine 42 in the third.

Four targets on the 27 Mahomes credited to a receiver. Tyquan Thornton had eight, Xavier Worthy seven.

Back in June the preview made no call on Kelce, and named September targets per game, six or more meaning the identity held, and red-zone usage as the things to watch. Four games, 22 targets: five and a half a game, just under the line after sitting on it through three. Sunday had no red-zone target.
