Mark Andrews was a short-range outlet against the Bengals: 4 targets, 3 catches, 23 yards and +0.4 expected points added (EPA) in a 35-13 loss at home. EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position. His catches went for 6, 9 and 8 yards, and his one deep target, on second and 6 at the Cincinnati 29 before halftime, fell incomplete.
It was a step up from his season rate. Through Week 6 he had 33 targets, 23 catches, 181 yards, 1 touchdown and -3.0 EPA, and 1 catch for 4 yards against Cleveland in Week 6.
