14 to seven over the Titans, four 44 left in the second quarter, first and 10 at the Baltimore 43, on a drive that had started at the two after a goal-line stand. Lamar Jackson threw deep right to Zay Flowers, 43 yards in the air, and Flowers was brought down at the Tennessee five after 52. +3.6 expected points added — expected points added is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position — the largest figure on any Baltimore pass or run. Two snaps later Jackson threw the touchdown to Mark Andrews, 21 to seven.
The line: 10 targets, eight catches, a hundred 18 yards, one touchdown, four first downs, +4.3 expected points on his targets. The touchdown came earlier in the quarter: first and 10 at the Tennessee 19, seven all, short over the middle, and he took it the rest of the way, +2.3. His first catch was Baltimore's first snap of the day, 23 yards to the Tennessee 14, on the drive that ended in Derrick Henry's touchdown. The others went six, eight, 11 on the drive that set up Tyler Loop's 64-yard field goal, and then two from Tyler Huntley after halftime: five yards, and a catch on third and four that lost six. Jackson threw his way seven times and Flowers caught six for a hundred 19 yards; Huntley's three targets went for −1.
10 targets were 34 percent of Baltimore's 29 throws, the most on the team. Andrews had six, Justice Hill three.
Back in June the preview said the targets were the part of Flowers's season that repeats and the touchdowns the part it expected to rise. Three games played: 22 targets, 18 catches, 352 yards, two touchdowns. 10 targets was his most this season, and the share Sunday was above the 30 percent June described.
