Zay Flowers got the most work of his season against the Browns, but only a few targets moved the ball: 11 targets, 6 catches, 66 yards and +0.7 expected points added (EPA) on his targets. EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position.
His best catch came up 10-3 with 1:45 left in the third quarter. Third and 11 at the Baltimore 39: Tyler Huntley threw deep to the left and Flowers caught it for 31 yards to the Cleveland 30, +3.6 EPA and +7.4 points of win probability. Back at first and 10 from the 30, Huntley was sacked for a 9-yard loss, and the score stayed 10-3. Flowers also converted third and 10 in the second quarter with a 17-yard catch from the Baltimore 12.
