Availability (the “stayed” rate)
Availability is the share of his team's games a player actually appeared in, measured across seasons rather than one. Over 2021-2025, 3 qualifying skill players missed nothing at all — DJ Moore of the Bears leads them with 85 games across 5 seasons.
Games played divided by team games while the player was on a roster, across a five-season window, for players with at least three seasons and twenty games. The denominator is team games rather than a flat 17, so a player who arrived late or was traded is not charged for games that were never his to play.

Why it matters
A single season's games-played is a description of last year; a five-year rate is closer to a property of the player, which is the only version worth pricing. Of 471 qualifying skill players only 3 were perfectly available, so the realistic question is not whether someone misses time but how much. Read it against the volume metrics: a large target share on 70% availability is a different asset from the same share on 95%.

The counter
Past availability predicts future availability weakly — it is a base rate, and the specific injury that ends a season was rarely visible in the one before it.
