Drop Rate
Drop Rate — 2022 NFL rankings, updated Aug 13, 2026. Romeo Doubs (GB) dropped a higher share of his catchable targets than any other pass catcher, at 10.7% across 83 qualifying players. Based on verified 2022 play-by-play data (nflverse); Half-PPR scoring. Through the 2022 season.
A drop here is a pass a charter judged catchable that the receiver did not catch, and the denominator is catchable targets rather than every target thrown his way. That is the difference between this number and the drop rate quoted almost everywhere else: a ball thrown at a receiver's ankles never enters it, so what is left is much closer to a measure of hands than of quarterback accuracy. Topping this list is not an achievement.
